It's supposed to work better with installed kernel headers, but I can't quite figure out how on x86.
meanwhile 1.5.19 is already out (August 10th)
1.5.20 was released awhile ago (August 28th)
This ticket was opened 7 months ago and still no solution?
Well I checked into installing this and it conflicts completely with nvidia-drivers at the least whn using the uvesafb framebuffer driver if you do install it. I massaged the ebuild enough to get it to install and when I managed to get the framebuffer to load at startup xorg failed to load with the 'nvidia' driver As for others I cannot say. But the klibc did install and work built against 2.6.36 kernel most of the patches in files/ have been applied I believe but don't think the one for sparc and ppc have been the source code directory changed to linux/Current/${P}.tar.gz or 1.5 instead of 'Current' works have to change the ebuild accordingly The current ebuild will not work since the source code moved
Closing since klibc-1.5.20 has been added to the tree.
