josm, the Java OpenStreetMap editor, has a new tested version out, 3.094. By adjusting the original ebuild a bit, it should work again. Note that the source file is xz-compressed, which will become officially supported by ebuild.sh in the future. Until then a small hack in src_unpack() works, but it should be removed once EAPI-3 becomes supported, see also bug #256765
Created attachment 222739 [details] josm-3.094.ebuild Ebuild for the current josm version.
Why is this dot placed (randomly?) in the svn revision number? Shouldn't this just be josm-3094.ebuild? Anyway, should be added to portage, works fine here.
Created attachment 226643 [details] Ebuild with more correct version number. Good point, the dot could of course be removed, that would also be more consistent with the upstream naming (just the svn revision number). I think I put it there to continue the naming convention of the previous ebuilds ("2.561" and "2.255"). So here's the new ebuild :)
Does also compile the current version 3201.
Created attachment 230205 [details] A live subversion ebuild An ebuild to simply use the upstream SVN repo rather than bothering with different snapshots. Adapted from the one in portage.
The josm-3094.ebuild does also work with rev 3208.
I did change version number so I have josm-3208.ebuild in my local portage I was able to compile it without problems and program is running well. please, can someone update portage tree? thanks
Bump done, I'll have a look at the live ebuild later
Although the bug summary says "bump to 3.094", but because the bug is still in "new" state: JOSM 3695 is out. Renaming the current ebuild works fine here (amd64).
Changed summary accordingly
bump done, won't add svn live ebuild to portage.
