Description Derek Dolney 2010-03-01 14:54:44 UTC
The newest gnupg (2.0.14) needs libassuan-1, the newest gpgme (1.3.0) needs libassuan-2, but libassuan is not SLOTted, so the dependencies cannot be resolved.

Hello, things are masked for a reason. Such as this:

# Arfrever Frehtes Taifersar Arahesis <arfrever@gentoo.org> (11 Jan 2010)
# libassuan 2 is incompatible with previous versions. Masked for testing.
>=dev-libs/libassuan-2.0.0
>=app-crypt/gpgme-1.3.0

Interesting. After my last sync, I had no /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask at all. I sync'ed again and now I have one with the lines you quote. And lots of other lines...now that I actually have a package.mask, I have 7 package downgrades.

Maybe one of the sync mirrors is a little fubared?
