Description Paweł Rumian 2010-02-26 12:55:31 UTC
After adding digital-clock to the panel the process plasma-desktop takes 100% CPU for a few minutes, and during this time all plasma applications are freezed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. If you have digital clock from plasma-workspace placed somewhere, then remove it
2. Add digital clock to the panel
3.

Actual Results:
CPU usage is very high, plasma applications freeze.

Expected Results:
Adding digital-clock should not cause any significant CPU usage.

Do you still have this problem with 4.4.2 ?

The problem still existed with 4.4.2, I resolved it by changing system fonts back to defaults.
I suppose this bug may be somehow related with fonts (Helvetica in my case), but I didn't have time to debug it.

OK I'm resolving this as needinfo. If the problem pops up again, just reopen please.
