Maybe related to the opposite effect in
Comment 2 Joseph 2010-02-26 17:29:00 UTC
There are a lot of references to okular and pdf printing incorrectly some post going back to mid last year; and this bug still hasn't been fixed.
Comment 3 Andreas K. Hüttel archtester gentoo-dev 2010-04-09 06:12:06 UTC
Which version of KDE are you talking about? Do you still have the problem with kde 4.4.2?

First page printed with Okular
Comment 6 Joseph 2010-04-10 01:46:21 UTC
I'm still using stable version KDE 4.3.5 and I'm not in a hurry to go to unstable. To me this KDE 4 an unusable bloatware.

My production machine is still using KDE3.5

Attached are two files:
lec01.pdf - this is the original document
ocular_lec01-printout.pdf - this is printout from Okular (first page); yes I checked the setting, paper size is letter, portrait.
Comment 7 Andreas K. Hüttel archtester gentoo-dev 2010-04-11 21:08:43 UTC
Well 4.4.2 might go stable in the near future...
Comment 8 Andreas K. Hüttel archtester gentoo-dev 2010-06-09 18:51:43 UTC
Can you try what happens if you DEselect "Scale to fit"?

What happens with okular-4.4.4?
Comment 9 Joseph 2010-06-11 02:08:38 UTC
It prints now OK; so I think we can close this bug :-)
Comment 10 Joseph 2010-06-11 02:36:54 UTC
It prints OK from some kind of "Document Viewer 2.28.2" but Okular prints in Landscape mode as you pointed in the bug link.

Where is the "system-config-printer-kde"? Is it under KDE menu (couldn't find it); I'm still on kde-3.5.
was trying to deselect "Scale to fit"

that's likely some part of Gnome

well, if you are on kde-3.5 you cannot have Okular since that only exists since kde-4.0...

???/me is confused???

Comment 12 Joseph 2010-06-15 00:17:14 UTC
All of my system are running Gentoo but my main server is running reliable KDE-3.5 :-)
On some of my backup servers I'm testing KDE-4 but there a lot of shortcoming one of them is Okular.

Original submitter says it's ok with 4.4.4. So resolving as fixed - thank you!
