Description Vlastimil Babka (Caster) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-02-19 08:27:35 UTC
The package installs no env file which would put /usr/lib32/qt4 in LDPATH.

Interestingly, the /etc/env.d/44qt4 from x11-libs/qt-core contains this path. But I suppose this is for the purposes of true-multilib portage, and not intended for the emul-linux-package? Anyway, the path is there even with standard portage.

I think this is somewhat weird (one package enabling to function another one, without dependency) and leads to bug 303789 where 64bit qt-core has to be installed even though the package is 32bit.

So I suppose the emul package should install its own env file?

Should be fixed in -r1 (it at least seems to work fine for me)

Thanks Caster :-)
