System is an unstable 32-bit userland onto an PS3. If i want to play an XVID movie, I am getting this verbose output: [0x1010a088] main libvlc warning: cannot load module `/usr/lib/vlc/demux/libavformat_plugin.so' (/usr/lib/libavcodec.so.52: R_PPC_REL24 relocation at 0x0c42d768 for symbol `av_freep' out of range) The GUI prints the following message: No suitable decoder module: VLC does not support the audio or video format "XVID". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this. This happens with every version in portage. (xvid use flag is active) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge vlc 2. play an xvid movie -> woring on some movies 3. play another xvid -> won't work 4. delete cache (~/.cache/vlc) 5. play again -> won't work 6. play again -> working on some movies --> goto 2. very weird... Actual Results: XVID movies don't play. Expected Results: XVID movies should play.
