I have the whole environment set to italian language, after upgrading tomboy (from 1.0 to 1.1.1) I get the application in english, reading release notes on official website (this bug associated URL) it seems that they updated the it localization. The only thing I can say is that with 1.0 mine tomboy was localized and now not anymore.
