I experience the:

'The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_ClockApplet".
Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration?'

error when trying to start the clock applet.

a) 'redvep-rebuild' -- no errors,
b) 'lafilefixer --justfixit'  -- no problems,
c) 'emerge -1 gnome-panel gnome-applets' -- doesn't help either

Any other ideas?
