While googling around for a solution to run a cron script only on non-holidays, i found the "wday" program, which seems to provide a very sleek way to tell whether it´s a holiday from a script. Would be really nice to have it included in portage. wday: http://www.nongnu.org/wday/index.html Should be relatively easy to maintain as it seems to be very small Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. eix for wday 2. ??? 3. profit
The download link for this seems to be broken, and I can't find another. Do you know if wday is still available anywhere? If not, we may be forced to mark this CANTFIX.
There is a new project page at http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/wday/ with the downloads at http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/wday/ However, the last release is from 2004. Not sure if there is any sense in including this.

As long as the page is there, I'll leave it alone, but if you don't care any more you can always close it yourself.
