Hi, attached is a new Ebuild for the latest xstroke gesture recognition system, which can be found at: http://www.east.isi.edu/projects/DSN/xstroke/ Xstroke can be configured as a graffiti type handwriting recognition system for X (the default alphabet it installs in /etc/xstroke defines this behaviour) or as a gesture recogniser to launch applications. Also attached is a patch to bypass the dodgy Imakefiles found in the original package and just use some correctly generated makefiles instead. If accepted, I suggest it be filed in x11-misc/xstroke, this package depends solely on Xfree (4.1.0 and above). Thanks, C.Davies

Chris, could you add the proper headers to the ebuild, and the LICENSE variable to the ebuild? thanks.
Erm.. I would if I knew where this stuff was documented. I build this from the docs at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/gentoo-howto.html Is this out of date, and if so, where is the new document?
check /usr/portage/skel.ChangeLog skel.ebuild and header.txt

very nice.... one slight bug though... The executable should be installed to /usr/bin -ryan
OK, here is a version that installs in /usr/bin Thanks for your patience, and accept my apologies for not reading the docs first :)
Created attachment 1186 [details] (Version that installs in the right BINDIR, should be compliant)
thank you much... will commit the build later today
