Hey, SYSLINUX 3.84 is out, I've used it on a few machines (two toshiba laptops, one Asus EEEPC, two 64bit generics (Asus main-board, Intel/AMD procs) and will be forcing my friends onto this version as well.  Why?  Two words: "MENU RESOLUTION" which give my boot-time eye-candy even more sugar.  It's cool.

I basically copied the ebuild for 3.83 (which I also used) and that was it.  It emerged OK for me each time and nothing caught on fire when I rebooted.  My ebuild copy is attached, still marked ~amd64 and ~x86.

It's a copy of 3.83's ebuild - works for me.

Please file one bug per issue. If you want to have the stable request still, please file a second bug.
