xscorch tooltips don't work. Instead a message says something like ``can't read
/usr/share/man/man6/xscorch.6''.

There is a simple workaround. Just gunzip the man pages. i.e. gunzip
/usr/share/man/man6/xscorch.6.gz . 

After doing this the tooltips work fine. However, maybe this isn't standard
practice to have non-compressed man pages in man dirs?

I added a fix to xscorch-0.1.16_rc2 for this.  Please try it out.  I intend
to
mark xscorch-0.1.16_rc2 stable.  Not planning on adding this fix into 
xscorch-0.1.15.  I emailed the authors so hopefully the next version of
xscorch will have a fix for this as well.
