This packages has many libs that are both bundled and modified. There are no visibility issues, but this opens the door for problems like bug 269516.

My upstream bug has already been rejected, but I haven't taken the effort to give upstream a patch to fix any of these. ofc, making such a patch looks like it could be a big effort based on the bug:

sydro: you don't have to close this bug. Also, it is not rightly a duplicate of bug 269516 because freeimage-3.13.1 has more recent versions of the libraries which had security issues.

I myself have slight interest in getting freeimage into sunrise; it'll need a lot of patching, though. But hopefully we can gain upstream support for using system-provided libraries.
