When you are running a kernel which has CONFIG_CRYPTO_XTS=n truecrypt fails when you try to mount a volume. The error message is: fl-lin-mo-5 kernel: device-mapper: table: 254:0: crypt: Error allocating cry pto tfm fl-lin-mo-5 kernel: device-mapper: ioctl: error adding target to table This problem is solved my enabling CONFIG_CRYPTO_XTS in the kernel config (either as module or built-in). I propose that the ebuild checks for that option. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Emerge truecrypt-6.3a 2. Run a kernel which has CONFIG_CRYPTO_XTS=n 3.
