Description Nirbheek Chauhan (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-12-27 03:03:01 UTC
gnome-bluetooth requires obexd, not obex-data-server (bug 285043). However, obexd is not keyworded for your arch (ppc + hppa). Please keyword the following packages:

net-wireless/obexd-0.18 ~hppa ~ppc
net-wireless/gnome-bluetooth-2.28.6 ~hppa ~ppc

Do not be fooled by the deps in gnome-bluetooth-2.28.3, and the keywords on it. That ebuild tells lies (but I'm keeping it around so that repoman shows the dropped keywords message)

Marked ~hppa.

ppc team? bluez-gnome seems pretty abandoned and would be nice to see gnome-bluetooth keyworded on your arch if possible :-)

Thanks

I've a G3 iMac with a Linksys bluetooth USB dongle. I can test this out when needed for you.
Comment 4 Joe Jezak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-05-14 20:01:58 UTC
I've marked both packages ~ppc. Since we're the last arch, I'm closing the bug.

Thanks for the offer Alex! If you'd like to test this package to report it for stable in 30 days, please feel free to do so!
