The ebuild does not build gmo from po files. 'Make all' claims there's nothing to do in po directory. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. cd /usr/portage/xfce-base/xfce4-settings 2. ebuild xfce4-settings-4.6.3-r1.ebuild compile Actual Results: "Make all" claims there's nothing to do. Expected Results: gmo files to be built. To solve this manually, cd to /var/tmp/portage/xfce-base/xfce4-settings-4.6.3-r1/work/xfce4-setting-4.6.3-r1/po and issue 'make all'. Behold that all gmo files are generated successfully. Copy the appropriate file to the destination directory, e.g.: cp de.gmo /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/xfce4-settings.mo
