Description Justin Lecher (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-12-19 15:10:07 UTC
As xterm isn't a default dep anymore for X, but cssh needs it, clusterssh should depend on it
Comment 1 Matthew Schultz 2010-08-26 21:43:11 UTC
Here's the error when trying to execute cssh without xterm:

Terminal binary not found (xterm) - please amend $PATH or the cssh config file
Died at /usr/bin/cssh line 335.

You can switch terminal in ${HOME}/.csshrc. Xterm is not strict dependency

Couldn't you at least add a notice to the ebuild stating that it is possible to set which terminal program to use in ${HOME}/.csshrc?

I've closed this bug as invalid, as response to initial problem i.e. adding xterm to DEPEND.
As for the info, it's all written in man cssh. I don't see the point in needlessly copying information.
