Description André Terpstra 2009-12-19 08:14:40 UTC
Switching from a "server" to a "hardened" profile is not possible because gcc fails to recompile (binutils and glibc do however)

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
build error

Expected Results:
normal build

AchillesGentoo ~ # emerge --info

The build log itself is too large to attach so here are the last few lines:

Ho this error message really does not explain much.

Anyway a further search into bugzilla revealed the solution: increase swap space (or RAM).
