Description andrewxbin 2009-12-07 16:57:08 UTC
I use installCD to install gentoo on my macbook. The boot process looks right, but after booting finished, i can't type anything after the cmd prompt. The keyboard just not response.

Does it have compatible issue on Macbook?

I don't know anything about Apple hardware, but make sure you have CONFIG_HID_SUPPORT, CONFIG_USB_HID, the proper USB support, CONFIG_INPUT_EVDEV.. as it sounds like a USB interface the keyboard uses.

Thanks for your reply. It's not a USB keyboard, it's mackbook laptop buildin keyboard. And I choose the default US keymap during booting.
