Please consider creating an ebuild for the splash-theme used on LiveDVD 10. My favourite is media-gfx/splash-themes-livecd-2007.0 (which I think it is based on) but it does seem a bit seem to be booting Gentoo 2007!
Is the LiveDVD theme stored somewhere in CVS/SVN/git or do we need to extract it from the iso images in order to put it into the splash-themes-livecd package?

Yes, please add it to the package now that 11.2 has been there for quite a while. It's already in scrill overlay but I would hate to add it for just 1 package.

The wallpapers for the livedvd-12.0 are located at http://ompldr.org/vY3NxZQ The md5sum is 767d9f0bf6839f19e869d38521e889f8 to use just wget and place files in /usr/portage/distfiles until this ebuild is committed to the tree.
