Comment 1 Jerry McBride 2009-11-28 17:23:05 UTC
I just installed the patch mentioned at bugzilla.samba.org and then emerged all samba related ebuilds and all ebuilds that supply kioslaves and then emerged konqueror. Konqueror still can not enumerate workgroup servers. However, the commandline utilities work perfectly... I used to be able to click open konqueror, then network folders, then samba shares, then workgroup and the servers on my lan were listed... Now it just times out, then asks for my user/password and continues to pop up the authorization dialog... again and again...

I'm running x86, except where required to have kde 4.3.3... Anyone have an answer for this?

fixed in 3.4.4 according to upstream bug
Comment 4 Livid 2010-01-12 11:26:09 UTC
Yes, it seems it is fixed in 3.4.4.
I'll set resolution to WONTFIX then, since there seems to be no reason to.
