Description Toralf Förster gentoo-dev 2009-11-16 12:21:05 UTC
I'll attach the konsole output for my first attempt to use that tool (http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-802886-highlight-.html - BTW it worked and installed the module) - however there are some errors which are worth to be noticed, IMHO.

Reproducible: Always

No, attached make.conf nevertheless.
And here's the local overlay:

Your build output is rather puzzling... would you mind posting 'emerge --info' output as well?

What's in that file?

Is "# Prefix keywords" an inline comment?

Could you please attach the environment file from one of the failed builds? It could be that your default environment has some weird settings that trickle through into the working of emerge.

Comment 11 Torsten Veller (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-01-29 10:21:45 UTC
profiles/arch.list:
| [...]
| x86
| x86-fbsd
|
| # Prefix keywords
| ppc-aix
| x86-freebsd
| x64-freebsd
| [...]

and g-cpan does:

$keywords ||= do
{
    open my $tmp, '<', "$PORTAGE_DIR/profiles/arch.list"
      or fatal(print_err("ERROR READING $PORTAGE_DIR/profiles/arch.list: $!"));
    join ' ', map { chomp; $_ } <$tmp>;
};

So it's really a bug in g-cpan.

Fixed in r227, will be released soon.
