Sage sounds stable and very powerful, I would like to use it.

"Sage is a free open-source  mathematics software system licensed under the GPL. It combines the power of many existing open-source packages into a common Python-based interface.
Mission: Creating a viable free open source alternative to Magma, Maple, Mathematica and Matlab. "

Still want a ebuild.
I can make one for you but this ebuild will then be avaible by overlays.

Not sure whom you are talking to, but if you can contribute and would be interested in this ebuild, please make it (and attach it to this bug for example).
