Here is the new gnat ebuild. I hope it will fix the known bugs. It also contains a lot of modifications in order to build a better compiler on ppc.

I added your e-mails to this ebuild in case the recent bugzilla changes caused you to miss this ;). Please test this version in regards to bugs/problems you have. I will have to focus on schoolwork on the remainder of this week =(.
I merged this into portage and tested on ppc and x86. It passes 26/26 of ACATS tests on x86 and 24/26 on PPC (because there is no threading support yet).
Hi David. Thanks for this update! I have been running it for a few days now and it seems to be fine. So I guess we can mark it stable soon. Also, when I tested the cvs snapshot of 5.0, it lacked bunch of docs (but otherwise worked pretty well). I think they should be added (if they are provided) before it gets unmasked.. Also, related packages were failing (e.g. gnatstub), since they were compiled against gnat-3.15. Just a note that transition to 5.0 should probably be coordinated - with simultaneous unmasking of all related packages. George
It has been marked stable on x86.
