Description Clemente Aguiar 2009-11-06 12:04:05 UTC
For a while now that I don't see my inbox, outbox, and sent icons from the main pane as well as all the icons on the left hand side in the preferences pane.

From what I understand the icon files do exist in
/usr/share/evolution/2.26/icons/hicolor
but are not displayed when I select any of the following icon themes
- Gnome, Crux, Gentoo, Mist
however if I select the Oxygen icon theme (a theme from KDE) I can see all of these icons.

Reproducible: Always

Comment 1 Clemente Aguiar 2009-11-06 12:07:26 UTC
Some additional info:

When I run evolution from the command line with one of themes such as gnome I get the following errors:

$ evolution

(evolution:2798): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_icon_info_get_filename: assertion `icon_info != NULL' failed

(evolution:2798): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_icon_info_free: assertion `icon_info != NULL' failed

(evolution:2798): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_icon_info_get_filename: assertion `icon_info != NULL' failed

(evolution:2798): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_icon_info_free: assertion `icon_info != NULL' failed

I run evolution from the command line with the Oxygen theme I get no errors whatsoever.

most likely bug #267018

Comment 3 Clemente Aguiar 2009-11-09 12:01:07 UTC
Both work-arounds as suggested in bug #267018
comment 5 and comment 7 solves the problem.
