Xpaint was removed from the portage tree in that bug report, can we please bring it back? XPaint is a simple paint program and it avoids the need to emerge the gigantic gimp when advanced features aren't necessary. If someone can locate the old ebuild I can play with it and report back.

Reproducible: Always

Please read the Gentoo Bug Reporting Guide[1] before opening a bug.
You'll have to reopen the old bug (I'll do it for you) and ask for a maintainer for the package to get it in the tree. There's no point in bugging the Developer Relations team as we won't add packages to the tree (not as devrel members).

Reopening to close as dupe.
