Comment 1 daveswen 2009-10-27 07:41:18 UTC
downgrade to 2.9.0 is OK
Comment 2 daveswen 2009-10-27 08:08:13 UTC
downgrading to 2.9.0 works sometimes.
Comment 3 daveswen 2009-10-27 08:54:52 UTC
2.9.1 works sometimes,too.
so maybe not related to x11-drivers/xf86-video-intel

resume_with_kms_disabled

more details:
1.when kms enabled
screen remains blank after resumming from suspend,backlight is on.
Nothing appears after switching to vt1, too. But I can log on in vt1 blindly,and type 'sudo reboot'.

2.when kms disabled
screen remains blank after resumming from suspend,backlight is on.
When switching to vt1, everything is OK. switching to vt7 still blank.

Let's track the bug upstream directly. Closing with the proper resolution.

Thanks

It seems solved after updating the system a few days ago. I don't know which
package makes it fixed, though.
