This ebuild in portage has not been fixed with regards to the migration gnome did this spring from svn to git. To be more precis it tries to fetch a repo that has not had a commit since: r3188 | carlosg | 2009-04-07 18:36:04 +0200 and does not even merge because of automake-problems.
yes it hasn't been update in a "while", and non live ebuild is also out of date in overlay, both are experimental, please just use the releases.
It was the gnome-overlay that made me try the live-ebuild as nautilus depends on >=tracker-0.7, nowhere else to be found but as live-ebuild (or nearly), but then I realised that the there is a dep-problem with totem and nautilus, making me disable those plugins all together until it is resolved, as I usually do not use them anyway. But why just not drop the live-ebuild as it is apparently more dead then the mythical horse you should not beat? And let it stay dead until someone care to fix it? It seems like the changes done for 0.7 are that big that when it comes to the live ebuild more of a total rewrite (or remake from a future 0.7 ebuild) is better then leave that dead thing in the tree.
will track necessary changes with bug #269928 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 269928 ***
