Well technically the /etc/init.d/mysql and /etc/init.d/mysqlmanager init scripts are nothing but bashisms. And not the trivial ones too. Would be really great if those two were updated to make sure they are compatible with strict shells like dash.

Those two scripts are actually provided by dev-db/mysql-init-scripts
