Description Ben Griffiths 2009-10-16 10:37:59 UTC
After upgrading gtk+ my wicd icon has disappeared, the eclipse-sdk splash screen doesn't display and the firefox seems to display the X symbol rather than its fox.

A downgrade of gtk+ did solve the issue.

I found http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=267018 bug the fixes suggest don't make any differences, so I'm not sure if it's related.

I also found http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=255251 which sounds similar but only relates it to nautilus.

See attached screenshot for a to see all the problems.

The versions are

dev-util/eclipse-sdk-3.4.1
www-client/mozilla-firefox-3.5.3
net-misc/wicd-1.6.2

~ # emerge --info
