Description Christoph Lange 2009-10-10 19:18:48 UTC
ktimetracker 4.3.2 is broken. It thinks it's 4.3.1, the GUI is broken, and the whole program is hardly usable.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
After I upgraded KDE to 4.3.2 and Qt to 4.5.2, ktimetracker is broken. (Note: I upgraded Qt after KDE, but rebuilt kdelibs, as advised by the Qt ebuilds. The other KDE apps I've used so far work.)
Actual Results:
ktimetracker still thinks it's version 4.3.1, and it is not usable, as important commands are missing in the GUI (see screenshot) and not executable by keyboard shortcut either.

~$ paludis -q ktimetracker
* kde-base/ktimetracker
    gentoo:                  (4.2.4-r1)K {:4.2} 4.3.1 4.3.2(~) {:4.3}
    installed:               4.3.2* {:4.3}
    Description: KTimeTracker tracks time spent on various tasks.
    License:                 GPL-2

    Use flags: (-aqua) (-debug) (handbook) (-kdeprefix) (kontact)
    From repositories:       gentoo
    Installed using:         paludis-0.40.1

Key to mask reasons:

* K: keyword
* ~: keyword (unstable accepted)

Screenshot of broken GUI

broken GUI in ktimetracker-4.3.2 (which reports as 4.3.1). The actions are not accessible by keyboard either.
Comment 2 Christoph Lange 2009-10-10 19:24:18 UTC
I downgraded ktimetracker to 4.3.1, at least that works.
Comment 3 Christoph Lange 2009-10-10 19:32:10 UTC
BTW, ktimetracker-4.3.1 reports as 4.3.0. Strange.
Comment 4 Christoph Lange 2009-10-14 10:41:53 UTC
This is an upstream bug.

What's next? I don't know, I'm not yet experienced with the Gentoo Bugzilla.

Resolve as UPSTREAM?
