Description aidar 2009-10-07 22:50:32 UTC
Hi,

A bug :

if:
you have selected "Present Windows" as Effect for window switching (ALT + TAB)

you have multiple desktops ( default : 4 )

you have set Meta+Tab as shortcut for Toggle Prenent Windows ( All desktops)

if you have at least two application windows open on the desktop ( ex: 1 )

and you have a single application window open on the desktop ( ex:2 )

after:
1. switching (desktop grid effect to switch desktop) to desktop( 2 ) with one application window, pressing ALT+TAB and then Meta+Tab multiple times.
2. switching (desktop grid) to the desktop( 1 ) with at least two application windows open pressing Meta+Tab gives:

1. Presents only one window, the one from desktop(2). (It is supposed to present all the windows from all desktops )
2. walk through plugin(ALT+TAB) is broken - it presents the windows, but you can't activate the needed window by mouse pointer.

Does this still happen in kde-4.3.5 or 4.4.2?
Comment 3 aidar 2010-04-21 01:40:07 UTC

please try with a newer kde version (if possible with 4.5), and if it still persists report it upstream and add here (in the URL field on top) the upstream bug url.
