TBH, me neither.

I'm really tempted to just rip out USE=doc from xfs...

@tex team, could you give us a hand here? I have no idea what that error message is about.

Thanks

May app-text/passivetex should by in DEPEND instead of dev-tex/xmltex?
Comment 3 sf 2009-10-02 08:29:52 UTC
Sorry! I did not fully read the bug report. With passivetex it fails for me, too.

Comment 5 Robert Corsaro 2009-10-11 23:33:14 UTC
emerging passivetex resolved the issue for me
Comment 6 Joerg Schaible 2009-11-15 18:13:28 UTC
appart form the fact, that passivetex is not a build time dep, xfs is failing for me also with passivetex installed
Comment 7 Maxi Combina 2009-11-20 17:50:37 UTC
It fails for me, but the error message is not the same.
Actually, I get the same error as the one described in Bug 287586...
Merging with USE="-doc" works ok.

FTR, we're working on removing xfs from portage...

See bug #293177 if you want more info.

Thanks
