app-doc/abs-guide includes not all actual bash-related documentation from The Linux Documentation Project. Reproducible: Always Actual Results: The ebuild cjntains just "Advanced Bash-Scripting Guide" http://www.tldp.org/LDP/abs/html Expected Results: To my mind, it will be a good idea to extend it by "Bash Guide for Beginners" http://tldp.org/LDP/Bash-Beginners-Guide/html/ And rename the ebuild from not very clear (it's clear just for those, who knows what is 'ABS') 'abs-guide' to something like 'bash-guides'. I think, it willn't be a good idea to write a separate ebuild for the "Bash Guide for Beginners".
The GNU awk manual belongs the same group of documentation: http://www.gnu.org/software/gawk/manual/
the beginner and advanced bash guides are two different projects, meaning they are released at different times and have different version numbers. consolidating them doesn't make sense. the gawk manual is already available through `info gawk`.
