Cherokee webserver doesn't start with /etc/init.d/cherokee start, nor with the cherokee-admin tool. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install cherokee webserver with USE="admin" 2.run cherokee-admin 3.go to http://your-host:9090/ 4.click on the launch button Actual Results: When I start cherokee webserver, this error message fires : Version: 0.99.22 Could not launch the server Something happened while launching the server. The error reported by the server follows: [21/08/2009 19:54:46.900] (error) collector_rrd.c:924 - Couldn't find rrdtool in PATH=/usr/lib/ccache/bin:/opt/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/opt/bin:/usr/i486-pc-linux-gnu/gcc-bin/4.3.2:/usr/i686-pc-linux-gnu/gcc-bin/4.3.2 Expected Results: Launched server Don't know if its uncorrect, but I have this line in my /etc/cherokee/cherokee.conf : server!collector = rrd Remove it and it will work fine. Don't know wh is it present by default.
Sorry, this was my own issue, I changed this valua in cherokee-admin.
