emerge --info >> /tmp<TAB>
becomes
emerge --info >> tmp
pressing <TAB> twice displays the following completions :
tmpl       tmpreaper  tmpwatch

The path is completed with package names.
The problem doesn't happen with simple redirection (>)

(Hopefully, I rarely use the append-redirection with emerge)
