Current stable 0.2 version does not install:

!!! dodoc: NEWS does not exist

 * ERROR: dev-python/pyalsaaudio-0.2 failed.

 * The specific snippet of code:

Please stabilize a newer pyalsaaudio version, as the current one can't be installed.
