Description Yang Dehua 2009-09-02 14:39:13 UTC
gtkmm-2.12.1 does not compile under my G5 with linux-ppc64 userland. There was an issue of "'strlen' was not declared in this scope" for two programs: targetentry.cc and scale.cc, which was solved in newer version like 2.12.7.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge gtkmm
2.errors occured
3.

Actual Results:
emerge aborts with errors in compilation

Expected Results:
emerged successfully

none

Please attach the config.log like portage tells you to, and please paste your emerge --info like bugzilla tells you to.

Thanks

Can you try with gtkmm-2.16.0, which has been recently marked stable on ppc64 and report back?
Comment 6 Yang Dehua 2009-09-30 11:24:33 UTC
Well, gtkmm-2.16.0 works in my system. Thank you.
