I have noticed an error message which appears when I read the man page for dash:

$ man dash > /dev/null
/usr/share/groff/1.20.1/tmac/doc.tmac:3375: bad character definition

This is only a cosmetic problem for me, but error messages or warnings are usually there for a reason, so I am reporting it.

So far, I have not seen this with other man pages.

Versions of installed packages are as follows:
  sys-apps/groff-1.20.1-r1
  sys-apps/man-1.6f-r3
  app-shells/dash-0.5.5.1.2
