Hi guys, i don't know if it's a problem of firefox or the plugin. Probably the first one because the plugin seems to work normally, but sometimes it doesn't, so it could be caused by the firefox installation. Can you please check if is working for you ? (to know if it's the plugin or not) i'm using ~x86 with the last version of firefox (3.5.2), my use flags: "alsa dbus java mozdevelop startup-notification -bindist -custom-optimization -gnome -iceweasel -restrict-javascript" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: just install it ( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3607 ) then go to the settings -> sounds -> sound files and trhen try to play them Actual Results: i get this error, without any play of the audio: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsISound.play]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://nagioschecker/content/nagioschecker-options.js :: anonymous :: line 451" data: no] Expected Results: it should play the audio :)
You need to check if it happens with firefox-bin, we do not have the man power to track down plugin breakage for every plugin that is avaliable.
Plugin maintainer is responsible for working out bugs not us.
