*gnargh* the original _error_ is here: In file included from MozRegisterComponents.cpp:29: GeckoPrintSession.h:50: warning: 'GeckoPrintSession' declared with greater visibility than the type of its field 'GeckoPrintSession::<anonymous>' GeckoPrintSession.h:50: warning: 'GeckoPrintSession' declared with greater visibility than its base 'nsSupportsWeakReference' MozRegisterComponents.cpp:274: error: 'XULAPPINFO_SERVICE_CONTRACTID' was not declared in this scope make[3]: *** [MozRegisterComponents.lo] Error 1
The same error here.
Same here too
There's a patch for Epiphany at http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=263990 which can be easily adapted. I'll append the patch in a second.

With this patch it's working. Great. Thx
Micahel/Lukas, is there a document somewhere which tells how precisely such posted patches should be applied? It doesn't look like there is any way to stop an "emerge" between the extract -> verify sums -> apply patches -> configure -> build sequence. One can apply the patches after the failure by hand, rebuild and use the Makefile install (which is different from the gentoo install usually) but then the "install" step isn't recorded in the package database. "emerge --resume" doesn't seem to work for single pagages and trying to stick the patches into the portage package hierarchy seems to result in their being lost when the hierarchy is updated (at least my experience seems to indicate that portage deletes all "foreign" files from the directory hierarchy). Is there specific documentation on how to apply gentoo patches that I am missing? Thanks.
(In reply to comment #9) > Is there specific documentation on how to apply gentoo patches that I am > missing? These patches were meant for the maintainer of the ebuild, he knows how to apply patches. (I'll try to answer Robert's question by mail.)
I can confirm, that the patch from #6 is working.
nirbheek, you added that version. Please fix.
