Every time i run mythfilldatabase i have gotten the following message: > 2009-07-21 18:38:20.683 XMLTV config file is: /home/martin/.mythtv/DVB.xmltv > Empty String at /usr/bin/tv_grab_se_swedb line 348 > 2009-07-21 18:38:29.258 FAILED: xmltv returned error code 2304. > 2009-07-21 18:38:29.259 Error in 1:1: unexpected end of file Tried both gentoo and funtoo with different perl-version. Think this started in june sometime. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.mythfilldatabase 2. 3. Tried everything. Seems that libwww-perl-5.829 does not work with xmltv. A downgrade of libwww-perl solved the problem after help from mythtv users list. Downgrading xmltv did not work.
This looks like an upstream bug, you should contact upstream (xmltv - tv_grab_se_swedb developers) for them to fix this issue (incompatibility with libwww-perl-5.829 of the swedb script). xmltv is working fine here with libwww-perl-5.829 so I'd bet that swedb devs forgot to remove some deprecated call. Reopen if you get some different explanation from xmltv swedb devs (upstream) or if you get a patch.
A new version of xmltv (version 0.5.56) has been released. This contains an updated version of tv_grab_se_swedb (version 1.5). It would be great if this version could be included in portage and stabilized.
