Description raps_tom 2003-09-01 04:14:22 UTC
If in /etc/autofs/auto.master the maptype is explicid specified the
autofs-script take allways the "yp"-type.

The line <<<< if [ "$maptype" = "$map" ] ; >>>> is the problem, i think.

A second Problem is the test of the specified map-file (if the map-type is not
set in auto.master). If it is executable the maptype is set to "program". But my
auto.misc unfortunately has set with permission 744. Therfore the automount get
the maptype program and didnt work, but no warning was generated.

The best wayout is to force an declaration of the maptype in the auto.master. If
no declaration is found autofs should generate an error-message and dont start
the automount.

Best Regards Thomas
