Description Arfrever Frehtes Taifersar Arahesis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-28 16:26:12 UTC
Please stabilize sys-libs/gwenhywfar-3.8.2.
Comment 1 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2009-06-28 22:03:03 UTC
I planned to stabilize gwenhywfar/libchipcard/aqbanking in a row, though some issues need to be sorted out first, especially gnucash compatibility. Also the 30 day period is not met yet.

Ok, it's time for another round of stabilizing the hbci (german homebanking) stuff. We need to get all this stuff stabilized together, as else things will break badly.

sys-libs/gwenhywfar-3.8.2
Target Keywords: amd64 hppa ppc sparc x86

sys-libs/libchipcard-4.2.8
Target Keywords: amd64 hppa ppc sparc x86

net-libs/aqbanking-4.0.0
Target Keywords: amd64 ppc sparc x86

app-office/qbankmanager-0.9.51_beta
Target Keywords: amd64 ppc sparc x86
(there's no version without beta working with aqbanking 4, but this one is okay, don't worry about that)

app-office/gnucash-2.2.9-r1
Target Keywords: amd64 ppc sparc x86

net-libs/aqbanking-4.0.0 breaks app-office/gnucash-2.2.9-r1 hbci support.
It appears no account in gnucash hbci account settings. With net-libs/aqbanking-3.8.2 hbci in gnuchash works.
Comment 6 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2009-07-10 22:35:52 UTC
dragonrot, we've a patch in gnucash to fix hbci support, maybe you just have to recompile gnucash? (there was no new revision for that)

I try:
emerge net-libs/aqbanking-4.0.0
run twice revdep-rebuild
emerge app-office/gnucash-2.2.9-r1
emerge net-libs/aqbanking-4.0.0 again
and app-office/gnucash-2.2.9-r1

There appers no account in gnucash hbci account settings.

If i take a look in the changlogs and handbooks app-office/gnucash-2.2.9-r1
only support net-libs/aqbanking-3.*. Correct me if i wrong.

Comment 9 Steffen Froehlich 2009-07-12 17:13:51 UTC
I think the empty list in aqbanking results from the changed aqbanking folder in the home directory?! I think for aqbanking-4.0 it's changed from ~/.banking to ~/.aqbanking. I recreated all my user-accounts and could get the accounts (ledgers) automatically. But it seems that gnucash-2.2.9-r1 doesn't work with aqbanking-4.0.0 yet. When I try to get new transaction volumes, no PIN dialog for HBCI card comes up. But I also installed aqbanking and gnucash two times again.
Comment 10 dragongrot 2009-07-12 17:30:06 UTC
The change from ~/.banking to ~/.aqbanking was at aqbanking-2.* to aqbanking-3.*
A copy from ~/.banking to ~/.aqbanking is sufficient like the handbook form aqbanking explains.

Have you also try with net-libs/aqbanking-3.8.2 ?
Comment 12 Steffen Froehlich 2009-07-12 17:48:02 UTC
(In reply to comment #11)
If you use the stable (x86 not ~x86) ebuilds you'll have to upgrade from aqbanking-2* to aqbanking-4*. The aqbanking-3* series isn't available for x86 yet.

No I didn't tried until now. But I will emerge 3.8.2 now for a test.

Comment 13 Steffen Froehlich 2009-07-12 18:37:56 UTC
OK, after I emerged aqbanking-3.8.2 with following revdep-rebuild (gnucash-2.2.9-r1 ermeged again) I can verify gnucash seems to work perfectly like expected. Aqbanking-4.0.0 doesn't work with gnucash-2.2.9-r1 in my opinion.

Stable for HPPA.
Comment 15 Markus Meier gentoo-dev 2009-08-02 15:31:22 UTC
amd64 stable
Comment 16 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2009-08-03 11:02:31 UTC
Steffen Froehlich: Others have working gnucash with latest aqbanking. Can you open a separate bug for your issues?
Comment 17 nixnut (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-09-27 14:24:01 UTC

Comment 18 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-10-22 16:39:03 UTC
