Description Christoph Gysin 2009-06-12 13:58:21 UTC
This is a live-svn ebuild for qtemu.

I know live ebuilds are a bit frowned upon by gentoo-devs, I'll just put this here for others to easily install qtemu-2.0.0_alpha.

app-emulation/qtemu-9999

- removed 1.0.5-help_and_translation_paths.patch, fixed in svn
Comment 3 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-12 14:09:03 UTC
This ebuild is already on qting-edge overlay. I removed the patch

Thanks
Comment 4 Christoph Gysin 2009-06-12 14:20:41 UTC
Aah, sorry for the noise then. Only checked bugzilla and couldn't find anything about qtemu-9999.

Please close this bug.
Comment 5 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-12 14:27:08 UTC
No, lets re-open it so people can find this bug when they are looking for a qtemu live ebuild :)
Comment 6 Ben de Groot (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-28 12:34:05 UTC
There is a 2.0_alpha1 release now, so an ebuild for that version would not be out of place :)

qtemu-2.0_alpha1.ebuild

For the people who don't want to use the svn 9999 version.

Added qt-svg qt-webkik to DEPEND. They were necessary for the compiling to complete, the build would fail otherwise.

Added bridge use variable. If there is a better use variable to use that is already in existence, please let me know and I will change it. This depends on bug #252300 due to the requirement of tunclt for bridging control. I will not add that bug as a dependency. I have not tested this use, it's based off of README file.

Fixed DOCS variable and added TODO doc since this is alpha software.

Removed doicon and make_desktop_entry. Didn't seem necessary to me.

I use amd64, and so far it compiles. I will test it further in the coming days.
Comment 8 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-07-24 20:49:00 UTC
Please next time use the ebuild from overlay as a base for your qtemu ebuilds, in order to preserve a high QA ebuild level :)

I will add _alpha1 ebuild on overlay

Thanks

add missing dep on qt-svg

i don't have kde installed, have +svg in my make.conf and still was missing qt-svg, which prevented qtemu from merging. after adding the dependency, it worked fine ;) keep up the good work.

Is qtemu still alive? Development seems to have stalled... :/
Comment 11 Davide Pesavento gentoo-dev 2012-01-09 13:07:43 UTC
Latest release (2.0_alpha1) was in June 2009. No commits in upstream svn repo since August 2009. Closing as WONTFIX.
