Please do.
Since this version has dropped .la files, it is highly recommended that you mark =dev-util/lafilefixer-0.5 stable alongside it, to provide a quick fix for the compilation errors that this may otherwise cause. The alternative is to run revdep-rebuild which can take quite a while. lafilefixer takes no more than a couple of minutes to run. See also pkg_postinst of libpcre.

Don't forget to stabilize sys-apps/grep-2.5.4-r1 in bug 273037 before marking this stable.

Stable for HPPA.

(I switched around the bug blocking to better suggest that grep depends on libpcre (so this bug must be resolved for each arch before bug #273037 can be resolved).

As of 2009-06-22 10:00 UTC ppc is broken due to bug 273037 not being resolved for that arch.
