Description Ben de Groot (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-06 09:59:56 UTC
The current stable qca seems to have some runtime problems with Qt 4.5, so we need to get qca-2.0.2-r1 stable, which does work fine. Also, it has been in the tree for over a month and there are no longer any open bugs against this version.

So please test and mark stable:
app-crypt/qca-2.0.2-r1
app-crypt/qca-cyrus-sasl-2.0.0_beta3
app-crypt/qca-gnupg-2.0.0_beta3
app-crypt/qca-logger-2.0.0_beta2
app-crypt/qca-ossl-2.0.0_beta3-r1

hppa can skip the cyrus-sasl and logger plugins which they don't have keyworded

Thanks!

Stable for HPPA.
Comment 2 Markus Meier gentoo-dev 2009-06-10 20:20:42 UTC
amd64/x86 stable
Comment 3 Tomáš Chvátal (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-12 11:05:21 UTC
Sorry to cc you again guys but qca-2.0.2-r1 had wrong deps, so i cleaned it up, because of the changes it needed revbump. Please please do your magic again on it.
Comment 4 Tomáš Chvátal (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-12 11:11:52 UTC
And i thought i clicked on the add archs button :]
Comment 5 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-12 14:20:02 UTC
Hm, seems you should have been able to tweak the DEPENDs without bumping, but there you go.

Stable for HPPA again.

I don't agree with blocking app-crypt/qca:0.
This way you are preventing side-by-side installation of qca1 and qca2. The qca-1.0-r3 ebuild was specifically introduced to support proper qca slotting. What's the point in having different slots if the two versions cannot be installed at the same time because of blockers?
Comment 7 emerald 2009-06-12 23:26:10 UTC
qca:0 and qca-2.0.2-r2 install side-by-side without collision or anything. The block prevents installation of kde:3.5 and kde:4 (once again).
Comment 8 Ole Langbehn 2009-06-14 07:10:30 UTC
Can't upgrade my system at the moment with the block. I've got kde:3.5 and kde:4 installed (using 3.5 and slowly evaluating/migrating to 4).

This is portage's output due to the block:

[blocks B ] app-crypt/qca:0 ("app-crypt/qca:0" is blocking app-crypt/qca-2.0.2-r2)

scarabeus, could you please revert the blocker? (see previous comments)
Comment 10 Tomáš Chvátal (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-14 10:06:16 UTC
And how about if those pple sync, it would be even more nice of them.

> ppc stable

You should stabilize app-crypt/qca-2.0.2-r2 instead of app-crypt/qca-2.0.2-r1.

Marked ppc64 stable, closing since we're the last arch.
