Which boost version? :)

This is bug 225931, but I'm not marking as a duplicate since this one has better log and metadata and bug 225931 is closed when it should not be.

Will you apply a patch if I prepare it? bug 225931 was closed in favor of an upstream patch but that version was masked in gentoo. (0.14). Or can I just commit it? ;)
Created attachment 195857 [details] build.log ( with --as-needed) I had the same error with the --as-needed LDFLAG, but, after removing it package still fails to install with a new error, I'm not sure if that's related, if you tell me it's not, I'll open a new bug

(In reply to comment #6) > Will you apply a patch if I prepare it? Or can I just commit it? ;) Please do. I just added 0.13-r1 with some fixes (most importantly the patch from security bug 273156). I have for the moment disabled as-needed, so if you add a patch, you can remove that append-ldflags line.

- Nothing in gentoo-x86 is needing =rb_libtorrent-0.13* anymore, should likely be cleaned up - Current stable in 0.14.6 - Current ~arch is 0.14.7 Can you still reproduce with 0.14.{6,7} ? Note that the workaround is only in 0.13-r1's ebuild.
