please try to reemerge with valid, fix and conservative CFLAGS!

Comment 4 Justin Lecher (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-05-26 18:41:02 UTC
and please remove -s from MAKEOPTS
Comment 5 Miroslaw Mieszczak 2009-05-27 18:10:22 UTC
Ok. I did.
It seems, that package can't compile with linker flag -Wl,--as-needed
is set. When I removed this flag, package compiled fine.

Thats right but please remove the "-s" from your MAKEOPTS and recompile and provide the output from that. -s hides alot of important informations.

The same problem here: app-forensics/aide-0.13.1-r3 fails with --as-needed and compiles OK without this option.

fix build with --as-needed

Phew! I fixed it according to http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/qa/asneeded.xml :
LDFLAGS is replaced by LIBS in configure.in
Comment 11 MATSUU Takuto (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-12-16 14:13:30 UTC
Fixed in cvs.
